PRODUCT MANAGER
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to develop markets by identifying potential products, working out specifications and timetables with Product Development, initiating test markets, and developing marketing and pricing strategies. This will include determining customers’ needs and desires and product pricing by specifying the research needed to obtain market information; recommending the nature and scope of present product lines by appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging change; and assessing market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitor’s products.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/or related field
• MBA Preferred
• 3-4 years marketing/sales experience in medical related fields
• Experience with Focal Cancer Therapy, Surgical Devices preferred
We are recruiting for the following positions at our corporate office, located in Queensbury, NY:
ACCOUNTING MANAGER
This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Manager supervises two accountants and an A/P supervisor; is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly completed and reviewed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
• At least 5-7 years experience with manufacturing and inventory accounting, prior supervisory experience required
• Working knowledge of SAP a plus
• Demonstrated experience with SEC reporting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
• Must be proficient with MS Office, Word, Outlook and Excel
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
The primary responsibility is to meet the needs of the company’s internal and external customers with efficiency and courtesy, meeting all requests from customers including the placement of purchase orders, timely shipment of product and requests for information, and providing outstanding customer service to domestic, international, and internal customers.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• At least two years customer service or related experience preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and typing skills required
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and responsiveness
• Associates degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent work experience required
IT ANALYST - SAP FICO
The primary duties will be analyzing processes, providing solutions, and developing reports for various projects via custom application development, utilization of existing programs, and/or evaluation and implementation of third party options. Primary focus will be within the FICO module of SAP, including Finance, Controlling, Costing, and Strategic Enterprise Management (including consolidations and eliminations).
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Minimum 3 years functional experience with SAP, demonstrated FICO concentration
• Bachelors degree in CIS or Business or a combination of education and equivalent job experience
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
IT ANALYST - SAP LOGISTICS
The primary duties will be analyzing processes, providing solutions, and developing reports for various projects via custom application development, utilization of existing programs, and/or evaluation and implementation of third party options. Primary focus will be within the Logistics modules of SAP, including SD, MM, PP, WM, and IM modules.

GLOBAL SALES ADMINISTRATOR
This position is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Sales executives, including developing reports, assisting with database tracking, establishing and coordinating regional and national meetings, interacting with international distributors and acting as the liaison between sales staff, international and domestic, and the home office. This person will be responsible for analyzing sales forecasts and expense budgets providing monthly breakdown for all sales regions and coordinating logistics for all sales, distributor, internal related meetings and training/education events. This position reports into the VP, Sales and Marketing.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Minimum Associates degree in Business Management or related field
• At least 4 years prior administrative experience
• Prior experience coordinating and participating in large business meetings or event planning is preferred
• Travel required, minimum bi-annually
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing customer needs
• Demonstrated high-level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, especially with PowerPoint presentations

SR. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform various engineering duties including the technical analysis, validations and act as an intermediary between R&D and Production. This person will actively participate in project teams supporting the introduction of new products, resolving process related issues, assisting in the training of operators and group leaders, and monitoring production lines for potential process improvements.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years experience in manufacturing engineering role
• CGMP and medical device industry experience preferred
• Training in lean manufacturing and statistical analysis preferred
• At least 3 years demonstrated project management experience
• Ability to write and communicate effectively
CLINICAL AFFAIRS MANAGER
This position performs primary clinical design and clinical management functions for new product development, new product submission and approval by FDA and other national regulatory bodies, and marketing claims support. This role will be involved in the development of standard operating procedures in compliance with US and International GCP’s as well as the selection and management of contract research organizations, preparation of study budgets, development of investigator brochures and assist with the preparation of US and International regulatory submission for the conduct of clinical studies and the approval of new products.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical study management and monitoring to support medical device regulatory approval applications; Cardiovascular experience highly desirable
• Direct experience in the management of CROs and other service clinical research service providers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Previous supervisory experience desired
DESIGN ASSURANCE ENGINEER
The Design Assurance Engineer is a core member of multidisciplinary new product development teams and is responsible for quality assurance elements of new product development. Key activities include assuring the product design conforms to user requirements and applicable standards, assuring that the product design minimizes risk, and assuring the product design is adequately tested and evaluated. This requires providing support during the design and development process as well as evaluation of product or process changes and post-market surveillance information.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree preferred
• 5+ years experience as a Design Assurance Engineer, Quality Engineer or Product Development Engineer in the medical device industry with class II or class III products
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is desirable
• Experience with new product development, design requirement development, design verification/validation testing, and risk management techniques
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
• Working knowledge of requirements of current ISO 13485 standard & FDA cGMP/QSRs
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
REGULATORY AFFAIRS PROFESSIONAL
Performs basic regulatory functions required for FDA and international product registrations, new product development, complaint system management, and internal documentation review. Primary responsibilities of this role are to determine US regulatory requirements and to prepare 510(k), IDE’s, PMA and industry regulatory submissions required by FDA for new and modified medical devices. This person will prepare and maintain FDA establishment registration and device listing submissions, internal review of labeling, advertising, and engineering change orders, coordinate information requests from FDA and international regulatory agencies, obtain FDA export certificates from FDA and determine requirements for CE mark supervising preparation of the technical file, when required.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree
• Minimum of 2 years experience in new product development and the preparation of regulatory submissions for medical devices
• Knowledge of 21 CFR/GMP/ISO 13485 series regulations and guidance’s
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
QC SUPERVISOR
This position is responsible for the overall supervision of the in-process Quality Control team They will also be responsible for adherence to all company policies, manufacturing procedures, SOP’s, cGMP’s, and the training of quality personnel. Primary responsibilities include analyzing production schedules, prioritizing work orders, and organizing daily job assignments for each product line. This person will supervise in process QC Inspectors on all shifts, provide assignments to inspectors, and ensure training is completed timely, effectively, and is documented.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Two year degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in medical device field
• Full working knowledge of ISO/GMP requirements
• Experience performing Quality System Audits, failure investigations, and developing Corrective Actions
• Must be a self-starter
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive and productive work environment
PROCESS ENGINEER - PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform various engineering duties including the design of alloy / special metal components, process tooling and strength of material with our Product Development Team. Perform investigations and analysis on alloy / special metal components. The position entails working with Product Development Engineers to create processes for new products and help in the transfer to manufacturing.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing engineering role
• 2+ years of Guidewire manufacturing experience
• 1+ years of Plastic Extrusion experience a plus
• CGMP and medical device industry experience required
• Ability to write and communicate effectively
